I subbed to that one too ! You are doing a fine job! keep them coming.! Also, the steel that we use for our knives is band saw blades and automobile leaf springs. If you go to a car repair shop you may be able to get a broken leaf spring for free to work with. Check out arizonacustomknives.com to see lots of REALLY cool knives... @@AHandleOnThings wow thank you so much ill check them out so im asumming u live in arazona and yes that would work thank you for the idea i would think there would be scrap metal at a junk yard or somin but my dad works at cheif so there not good steel its all kinda thin out there but ill check it out when im older i wanna make my own busniess my dad has one he dosesnt make alot tho but your so kind thank you so much -macon

Macon, The knives we made that are on that page are under the S.W.Gallagher maker name. Remember that you can also take an old knife, knock the handles off of it and reshape the blade and make the knife into something else totally new. That's a great way for beginners to get good metal to work with. -Shane
