Zubbie I have found myself needed transparent/clear paints a few times, but unfortunately I don't have any. What I have discovered and use as my go to option is a combination of clear acrylic paint gloss and food coloring. All one needs to do is play with the ration to get the effect that they want. I hope this info helps those out there

Zubbie I actually need to purchase more of the red color . It is a good color to mix with almost any clear acrylic. I may try it with clear nail polish in the future , as that drys quick. Also it is a nice alternative for blood effects because of the darkness of it.

I miiiiight actually try this one. I've just been using one of the flame pieces from the ultimate green goblin BAF for Johnny, and while it looks okay, yours looks way cooler. I think it looks as good as the tamashii flame effects. Great job!

Thanks! The choice of paint makes a big difference on this project. I've made some other flames in the past with regular craft paint, but they don't look anywhere near as cool. I really liked working with the Tamiya clear paints.

Zubbie Will the Cyclops effect work the same for a super man figure or maybe some batarangs maybe thanks again.

The Cyclops effect fits inside his visor and that's how it's balanced on that end. I'm not sure if Superman's cheekbones will be enough to keep the effect from sliding down his face. But if they're not, you can always make more little stands to support the effect. Otherwise, it should work for Superman.

I don't think so. Just as long as you drag the glue with your gun, you should still be able to make the sharp peaks.

Thanks for subscribing! Godzilla's breath is more like a beam, right? If so, then you could probably try making something similar to my Cyclops optic blast effect (available here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/h52cn62GpLiJqtU ) and put these flames at the bottom of the effect to make something appropriate for Godzilla.

The wall in the bookcase video is actually 2 pieces of scrapbook paper. I'm pretty sure I got it from JoAnn Fabrics. They sell individual paper sheets for pretty cheap.

Hello from Germany. Your work is really great. My son and I also want to make action figures for him. Dad also has a hot glue gun, but it probably has too much power. I can't get the right shapes, the glue just runs too well. My gun has 500W and gets about 200° hot. My stupid question now is. Are you using a gun with less power? 20W? 60/100W? 😬😱 I just don't want to buy 100 hot glue guns 🤣
