How To Make a Flaming Lamborghini Shot

Ingredients for the Lamborghini Cocktail: We are going to first stack our glasses and this is where you can be creative or you can follow what I did. A martini glass on the bottom you will then need either a flat beer key or two bar spoons to support the rest of the glassware. Next place a wine glass upside down then a snifter upside and finally a shot glass upside down.
In the very bottom (martini glass) pour in 1 oz of blue Curacao and 1 oz of Irish Cream.
In a glass pour in 1 oz Sambuca and 1 oz. Kahlua.
Pour a bit of Sambuca on the very top shot glass and light it on fire.
Then warm up the glass that you have the Kahlua and Sambuca on the outside. You can slowly rotate the glass so you can warm it up evenly for about 10 seconds. Then with your lighter light the contents in the glass as you tilt it over shot glass that is on fire too.
Slowly pour the contents so it flows down your tower of glasses evenly (be careful not to splash just slowly pour!).
As the fire passes its highest point this is when you can take a straw and place it in the martini glass and drink as fast as you can. This will kill the fire and there you go you just had a Flaming Lamborghini shot!

A number of bars in Sydney's CBD would do these on a friday night 30yrs ago. More intricate cocktails were popular for awhile and bartenders would compete. Slam a 50 on the bar and they would "build a lambo". Probably a 100 note these days. I'm sure there were ice buckets of water handy just out of view. Great professional bartenders. Good vid. Pretty friend you have.

I have worked in Resorts/Clubs F&B for many years. Once, I had to extinguish a Bqt Mgr's Baked Alaska caused fire. Another time, we had to extinguish a Maitre'd who had set himself on fire with Cherries Jubilee. Fortunately, it was only his Tuxedo Jacket. I was laughing too hard to help that Genius. Indoor fires can be exciting.
