i love the way fringe looks! but i dont think i could pull it off. I have a leather jacket that has fringe like this, do you know of a safe way to take off fringe or is it not worth the effort?

+Linda Le With leather it's always a bit tricky, if you're taking out any part that has been sewn the holes made by the sewing needles are there forever, unlike how they can disappear in fabric. I think the safest way would be to cut it off as close to wear it is attached as possible?

+withwendy Yeah, I noticed that there would be an awkward gap when I first test out pulling out some fringe (good thing its very minor!) I've been carefully cutting it off as close to the seam as possible like you said and you can't even tell unless you look really closely! Thank you so much for your help! :)

I doubt I could do this on leather right? I have a thin faux leather that I love but the wear and tear on the material keeps me from wearing. so I think adding fringe could be a good way to hide it. but is it a good idea to do it on this kind of jacket, assuming I'm gluing it instead of sewing it?

+Julian Tate glue will be pretty permanent, if that's what you want to try you'll have to commit! If you know it's a look you'll prefer and be proud to wear, I would say go for it!
