Why did u place ur tape on the center front and divide by 4, after dividing by 4 are u not suppose to still divide it by 2 to get the 2 side before cutting, please explain, it is confusing

This is a different method of achieving six pieces skirt Measure out the center front first Then place and cut the sides This is a sure method Watch it again for better understanding
