When making a wig...how do you ensure the cap will fit?
@ashleynicole59 жыл бұрын
+Taryn Banks because when you use a dome cap its very stretchable to ensure that it will fit it works

Thats great when have a bigger head.lol. mine is rather small so I have lots of space in a dome cap and a kiddie dome cap is half inch to an inch too small.. seems like I go thru the struggle.lol

Hey Khadijah (hope i spelt that right), I am using this method to make my wig, random question, did your mannequin head come with a hole in the bottom already or this you have to cut it.. its hard to get a decent wig head for wig making here in the UK.

you'd have to remake it. if it were bigger, then that would be a different case. it's just like clothes. you can make bigger clothes smaller to fit but you can't really make smaller clothes bigger to fit unless they somehow stretch or you're somehow able to attach more fabric

I really appreciate your tutorials. You are inspiring me to do my own hair via wigs so it can grow. Just one question regarding the elastic band. You only measured it with the silk closure but at the end if the video after braiding your hair I saw u put a black band on the back of your hair. Please advise if you measure the band regarding the size of your head and then subtract 7 inches or just the base of the closure. This is my first time
@NINA-dq6fc11 жыл бұрын
Wow! I love your hair and videos. I have extremely thin hair and I am thinking to invest in this sort of thing because extensions for me don't stay in and I just end up feeling really bad about how messy they look after a few hours. I like to use a bang extension since it works well but I'm so self conscious about my thinning hair that sometimes I just stay home and cry! Thank you for posting this, I am inspired to go and try it out myself =)
