I'm 14 and still growing, but im making a fursuit head right now, you grow out of the bodysuit but not the head as much (just to let you know)

Just make a head that can fit a 24in head, that's the typical measurement for a head you won't outgrow and it's not gigantic when you're 14. I'm 18 and it fits me as well

yes! you absolutely can handsew parts on your fursuit. You just have to make sure your stitching is close together and strong. I'd recommend looking at various tutorials on how to do strong handsewing stitches!
