I showed my daughter how to make a g-tube toy in order to help her understand the peg to mic-key surgery her special needs sister is having. I think it is so important to be telling my daughter about surgery and any other medical issue that arises so she is aware of what is going on. She went ahead and really surprised me!
I'm a special needs mum vlogger in the UK with two daughters, one of whom is severely disabled. Elin is a girl with quadriplegic cerebral palsy, she has a feeding tube, is a wheelchair user and as she can't use the toilet independently she is in a nappy / diaper.
Apart from cerebral palsy, Elin has complex medical needs and seizure disorder. She has tonic clonic, or grand mal seizures, partial focal seizures and absence seizures. She is on multiple medications every day, for her spastic muscles, for her reflux disorder and for her epilepsy. Elin is on a blended diet, which we give her through her feeding tube, and I share tips, how to and recipes.
On this channel I share our day to day life, our morning, feeding, medication and bedtime routines, feeding techniques, how Elin communicates, etc. I also showcase the relationship between Elin and her sister Alice, and how they play and interact with each other.

Hahaha, as long as you're OK with random stitches all over, sure 🤣. The OT and I are talking about hand splints but not sure it will help her. She has a tendency to over-extend against things like splints and it may be that instead of helping her hold her hands open they may cause her to curl up her fists even more. But it's not a closed case yet.

English is compulsory in Swedish schools from quite early on. It was year 4 when I went to school, I believe it's earlier now. And apart from children's films we don't dub stuff, so English language films are in English with Swedish subtitles so that helps. My English was good enough to get me a place at university here when I came over 20+ years ago.

It was a gift from a friend who makes reborn dolls (though this isn't one of hers, she is extraordinarily talented). I am not sure what kind of doll this is exactly.
