Fun fact I thought I would share: Most reaction gachatubers, at least ones who are monetized will likely have at least 8 minute long videos. Why? Because the ads are different when it's 8+ mins and they will make more money. Don't know specifics but I looked it up (to verify since idk where I heard about this and wanted to be sure it's true, and yes there's something called "mid-roll ads" that 8+ minute videos will have that makes more monetization money.) Unfortunately this is a HUGE reason why some ppl are cheap and add "breaks" or long cutscenes to increase the time of the video. It really shows, there is a big difference in those who are passionate about making a reaction video and those that want money from it. You can tell most of the time.

a tip to those with short videos (like myself sorta) once youve finished and edited your video, slow down the who thing to preferably 0.5. This helps with copyrighted sounds and also i believe watch time?? Just tell either at the beginning in the 'intro' or in the title/desc to put the playback speed!!! this is a sort of secret running in small communities so keep it quiet yall

yes i think context matters. Comedic animes in general are less serious (like Saiki K for example) so the characters making those faces is much more fitting, versus the demon slayer characters/ more serious anime characters making them which doesn't look right considering the genre.

Hiii! I may not upload videos at all however I do watch these kinds of videos often. Quick tips! you will face copyright with the music and such because tracking down all the songs are difficult. This is simply fixed by altering the sounds or slowing the whole video down and asking your audience to speed it up using the playback speed (2 popular ways of avoiding it, the 2nd way is much more easy on the audience as altered audio can change the mood you wanted) The 2nd tip is not to keep the same reaction for too long and move it along, since the audience is on the internet and obviously our attention span is short. I’ve seen this mistake repeated many times with the surprised face, you can always make them have a different expression after the surprise is done. Such as a: happy face, if it’s just fluff. An angry face, angst etc. A serious face, angst etc. and so on. 3rd tip is pretty simple, character designs. The designs should be unique to you and something that looks nice- it can seriously be off putting if it looks wrong? Many designs are repeated making it feel like you’ve seen it a million times, this is optional since your style is your style. 4th! People will come and watch even if on the first day there is nobody! Time will tell! I’ve seen many underrated reaction videos that became extremely popular in a couple of months. Have fun

Another tip, put the credits! I usually get inspired specially when its an animatic, and i want to search. But on the video the @/ it’s very horrible to see and there’s nothing on the description. And don’t do: 1. [link] 2. [link] 3. [link] 4. [link] To click on the right one is very hard, put like: 1. Name - Music/title of the edit [Link] SPACE 2. Name - Music/title of the edit [Link] SPACE 3. Name - Music/title of the edit [Link] And if you lazy to do that, when u clearly you chose their videos even without asking, make more visible the credits on the playing the videos.

The first and only time I made an script, I didn't stand finishing it because I was too obsessed with making it like actually accurate in canon (lore etc), so doing it freestyle helped me way more with actually finishing reactions. But genuinely, if I were to recommend which gacha to do the reactions in, it definetely would be Gacha Club, way easier and can end up better since you won't get tired as easily as in Gacha 2 (talking abt myself lol), though Gacha Life 2 might be a better choice if you are feeling inspired and energetic (mentally). Great video!!

As a gacha reaction maker ( in other account ), I haven't made any lately but I try to searcg for coherent orders and also interesting ones. Not just trying to keep it bland and rushed, planning to even give it a proper introduction to the characters so the qudience understands what personalities the characters are going to show to them. I was gonna do one, but it was for an AU, the idea is still running and I'm still doing the designs so I might just keep running on and I personally enjoy lon reaction videos - so I would make it from 15 - 30 mins at least.

I love gacha videos and I've always wanted to do one but I'm just so lazy, like, omg why can't the chatacters change expressions by themselves GAAAA. I do write a script... Or try, but I am, more than anything, a fanfic writer. So whenever I start writing a script I end up with a lot of paragraphs narrating their emotions, the setting, the way they look around, and all kind of things, then when I have to do that in Gacha I realized I wasted time writing all that when in reality all that happened was: *Character appears, characters looks around* But you'll see, one day I'll manage to write a script and not a fanfic 😭
