Hi Zahra I covered my cake with black first , and then added other colors as I went , I guess you can do a mix of dark blue & black for the base coat too

Hi Neeru Ganache may not mix well like buttercream to get the shaded look to replicate galaxy I guess you can try I have feeling buttercream finish will look more realistic

Hi Aurelia Splatter is white gel color mixed with bit of alcohol or you can use water I used a brush

Hi Any dark buttercream would do.. this cake has few dark colours including black, yes mouth will be painted a bit, these colours are food approved though
