How to make a Galaxy Ombre Wall
This works with any colors not just galaxy. Works for two or more colors.
We used a dark purple, a sapphire blue and a teal color. Other three walls are solid dark charcoal with glitter powder.
1. Paint base coat and let dry. Base coat can be any of your colors or a similar one. We used a similar color in medium French blue. Sometimes the base color peaks thru so make it a good color.
2. Measure walls into even sections one for each color.
3. Paint a block of each color and let dry.
4. Now the ombre starts. You can have one person or two people. You will need multiple paintbrushes. In order to blend two colors you will need a brush for each color and one blending brush. Make a "wet edge" of each solid color. Then use the blending brush to mixed them in up and down diagonal motion. Add more solid paint as needed. Remember wet paint looks different than dry.
This works for pale colors and full rainbows too. For pale just make sure the base coat is a pale color too.
