I really like how there isn’t a featured monster in this build- the oversized crystals, the generally isolated/claustrophobic vibe of the miners in such a contained, unexplored space, and the suggested depth of the cave (as well as what might live within it 👀) make it sort of contextually eerie as opposed to highlighting a specific threat. Fantastic work as always!! Can’t wait to see what you do next!!

To me, at least, the entire cave almost seems like the monster that’s swallowing the miners

Agreed! I am amazed at how bright that teeny-tiny led was. Even with studio lighting you could see its glow on the miners and the surrounding amethyst. Until the final shots I was thinkimg he needed to backlight the crystals or some way to get more light/glow into the diorama.
@TheTrueSignpost5 ай бұрын
I think you still should have turned all the external lights off for at least one shot of just the lamp.

Using the amethyst crystals was so creative, and when the crystals reflect the light from the lantern, it looked so good. It's similar to the amethyst geodes in Minecraft.

Yeah, that's something that could not be achieved when I was a kid during the 70s. At that time, the tiniest lighting solutions were incandescent "grain of wheat" and "grain of rice" bulbs that would have been almost half the size of the figurines used here.

Absolutely stunning! This thumbnail really caught my eye, the real amethysts really add a kinda magical sense too it as well as make it pop. Makes me feel like I’m inside that cave myself, gazing in awe at the huge crystals around me. The warm light supplied by the lantern really compliments the amethysts too. Great job, can’t wait to see the rest of the Wild Imaginary West series, it’s been awesome so far, keeps getting better and better!
