I have in the past but have had problems with it fading. I know a lot of people do. So now I use Bombay indian inks , tamiya spray paints for larger pieces

That is so cute. Nice to know how many bottles it takes to do a project. Is it possible to use clear glass and color the resin you drip?

You can use clear glass but I would think the resin would drip out around the glass and not give you the effect you want. If all you have is clear glass you could spray it with a translucent spray paint. In a lot of my videos I spray different kinds of glass with Tamiya translucent spray paint.

First of all thank you. I promise if you try it you will be addicted it is so much fun! I would also suggest joining the facebook group so many ideas there. What ever you do start with something simple so you do not get discouraged. The best tumbler to start with is with a 3 LB barrel I will leave you a link to one of mine. I will also leave a link to a video where i show you some different size tumbles and talk about it a little more. So I have a bunch but the 2 I keep in the house now and use only for glass with just water and no grit because I am just trying to get the sharp edges off are The National geographic 3lb tumbler amzn.to/3zCvirM. and the vevor 3Lb tumbler amzn.to/3ByNVgQ are actually called rock tumblers. For your 1st tumbler I would not get one smaller then 3 lb. I have had the national geographic one for 4 years out in the garage and because it was so reliable I bought one for in the house. the vevor one was given to me 1 year ago and has been running fine.
