I'm so glad I found your video! I live on the beach in the inland waters of Puget Sound in Wa state. I have been going to several local beaches for the last year and I have so much sea glass it's getting scary!. I wanted to make Christmas gifts for my 3 adult kids and thought I'd make the window pane glass hanging for their windows. They look so pretty. But it isn't easy to find the right size frames and the whole project would take some planning and time. So I'm going to do this instead. I like your idea of the electric candle. I can get the little battery ones at the store just down the street. This is so awesome. Sea glass is so beautiful and is even more so when it's got light behind it. One could use marbles also. I have a collection of beautiful old ones. See what you did? I'm on a roll now! Thank you so much!!

The candle is lovely, collecting sea glass is one of my favorite to do at the ocean, or I cheat and buy bags of the sea glass.

Any suggestions on what to use to secure the glass so it doesn't move around? I made a votive not too long ago based on your idea and want to make it more permanent so the glass doesn't shift around when moved or nudged. My initial thought was pouring Mod Podge down the sides.... Any other ideas?

+KeyAreUh10 Shift around? The only time it should do this is if you took the centre glass out and the glass design collapsed.

I used smaller pieces of sea glass (left over from wedding decorations), and there's more space in between my votives than yours, so if you nudge it hard enough or tilt it some of pieces move or fall inside the inner votive. My concern is that we're moving within the next couple weeks, and I'd rather not have it get messed up during transportation. I'd like to find a way to secure the pieces of glass so they can't move, at least not too much.
