You have to have good royalties to get more money.

The reason why this happens is because If you have any band members, their royalties are probably high and throughout the week your are doing gigs that cost money and when the week it over you owe the costs of the gigs and you have to pay your band members. SOLUTION: Try getting rid of a band member or lower their royalties. Another solution is put out a lot of singles that are good

I made an album with all 5 stars and 5 hearts (threw out songs that weren’t perfect.) basically sums up the game. I got to 33 mil max and from then on, earning money from a single song would be very hard (the tax funds are crazy expensive even from 5/5 songs, you earn like 400k and spend 650k on songs). from that point, you gotta publish 4-5 star albums to even earn decent money to get to 50m-100m. i got bored and am basically done with the game. good game, 7.5/10 (with improvements can go to 8.5-9.5 honestly.) keeps you entertained for a couple of days until you exploit the game pretty easily. good game overall, worth the download.

game tips: • starting attributes doesn’t really matter, but if u ask for suggestions: go heavy for writing and light on performance (atts for writing makes you create better songs for better stars and hearts. performance helps you perform the songs to their maximum potential in concerts and advertising. you don’t need talent since you can find talented artists pretty easily to collab with, they are hella abundant there.) • never give creative control to your bandmates since you can’t control what they were and what their positions and instruments are. they also have control over song titles and when to publish albums/songs you don’t want to publish yet • always ask for creative control when signing with a new label (hard to do this from the start since labels have no trust on noob artists.) • if you are confident that your album/songs are good, sign label contracts with 100% power over royalties (how? 0$ advance pay does the trick. is it worth it? hell yea, if you are damn confident about your songs then a single song in one week pays more than what they offer advance for.) • if you are charged with cases, the result is always random. they don’t really decide who’s right or wrong based on their actions. if you lost the case then exit and reopen the game (you’re back in square one.) • if you have creative control then you can do this trick. if they want you to perform like about 5 songs in a venue, you can change it to 1 song. as long as the manager says you have to “turn up” since there’d be no point, just sign the contract again, they’d agree 101% of the time. works only with cc.

getting kicked out of a label doesn’t have a significant meaning but you should want to publish songs and albums with a label. without labels, you wouldn’t have sponsors which would help you pay and advertise your songs which would lessen your total revenue later on. i suggest a cool trick if you want to get money whilst wanting to change label: if they let you do something and they establish a deadline but you don’t want to do it so you’re going to get kicked out basically; look if your contract ends before their deadline, that way you can ask for an advance pay with 0% royalties (you don’t need royalties if you’re going to get kicked out after a couple weeks) then they kick you, and BOOM new label and they sign you a contract and in that time, you do sign for royalties since it’s your new label where you’ll be releasing new songs.
