Respond to this video... Plus I love to experiment, thats how we learn what works and what doesn't lol. I hopefully passed heaps of tips onto my own children and now I'm working on passing as many as I can to my grandchildren, who simply adore crafting and creating their own things! If I leave nothing else to them, at least they will remember me for teaching them how to thread a needle lol lol lol. Thank you for your kind comments, much appreciated and I hope you keep dropping in :) xx

@Arleneknee Many folk have addictions Teresa, mine is crafting! I am 50 and have been crafting since I was 3 in some form or another! I was fortunate to have parents that were both very artistic and crafty. My late father practically made everything we owned furniture-wise, paintings on out walls etc and my late mother did all the sewing and flowers in the home. There were 6 girls and 2 boys, my parents taught all 8 of us how to knit, crochet, sew and paint. Never a dull moment in our house :).

@Arleneknee I use the Surebonder, and don't often feel the heat of the glue because I so used to it sticking to my fingers now lol. The clear sticks actually you can feel something with those whereas the opaque ones are better as they cool much faster :) xx

OK!!! you just inspired me for my project today... it's WAY too hot here in the Idaho desert to go outside, so I'm going to try my hand at making your clever little "rainy day" parasols!! If I post them on my blog I will give you kudos and acknowledgement for such a wonderful idea. Thank you for sharing your talents with us!!

Just a note to let you know I love watching your videos. I learn something every time! I also want you to know that even when you slip up you are not afraid to say so and state it is a learning process! Honest. Love it. Some crafters stop the video and it skips, and you are not sure why until they say the messed up but fail to tell you what. Messing up is okay. Again, learning process. I love your work, your honesty, your very being and your shop! Hugs and keep up the good work!

Those are so adorable! Thank you for the inspiration! I love your accent, where are you from? How do you know how big to make your lace piece? Do you make the base according to the size of lace, or the other way around?

Use your heat gun and give the glue strings a shot of hot air and they disapear :) No sense in the glue drinking all your coffee :) Debbie

Name is misleading, I'd agree with previous commenters on that. This is doll-size...beautiful, but I did watch quite a bit before figuring it out.
