how to make a halloween pumpkin out of expanding foam gap filler

In this video I will show you how I made a halloween pumpkin using expanding foam and foam clay. The things I used are listed bellow.
Expanding foam gap filler
Foam clay
Hexflex primer and sealer
White primer spray
Red primer spray
Liquitex
Unbleached titanium
Raw sienna
Cadmium yellow
Cadmium red
Light orange
Dark Brown

Looks great! You can also cast spray foam pretty well. I had great luck molding tree bark, and then casting the foam. I made a series about it if you’re interested!

As a PSA if anyone chooses to replicate this, ensure it I'd done outside, or in a well ventilated room and wear a niosh or equivalent respirator. These foams release really unhealthy gasses and can cause cancer and all manner of serious health issues... make sure to read the manufacturers MSDS (material safety data sheet) before commencing work with them..

Hi foam clay is available at most craft stores and on ebay it's air drying very light when it dries and can be sanded, water based is best on foam shellac can eat into it, just water to shape and glue the teeth and face to the foam the clay gets a good bond to the foam as it dries out

What brand of expanding foam is that? I’ve never seen white before, I only get that yellow stuff. This seems to also have a more dense texture than the yellow expanding foam. I was actually thinking of making a pumpkin spewing ground fog and have a line laser in it as well giving it a swamp floor look. And that requires me to actually make a foam pumpkin instead of beging those ugly abs plastic ones. And I started looking for EVA foam pumpkins and this came up. And I was happy because I still have expanding foam laying around from a batch I bought to make some charred skulls. 😂 Your sculpting skills are awesome btw ❤

@diannenaworensky6698 hi foam clay can be bought in most craft shops and online stores it air dries hard in about 24 hours, can be sanded when dry and is very light when dry. Hope this answers your question.

Thanks for sharing your creativity. However, I couldn't get to the end of your video. No offense intended.....but your constant restarting of that music just to play it for a few seconds and then start it all over again the next time...really was not necessary, and it ruined your video. Especially the high pitched music selection you used. I would much rather have just seen and heard you....not that annoying music. Sorry, just a personal observation.
