I taught myself how to make masks of this size, but with papiermache. I make them for my son's costumes these past several years. I've made bendy, Sans from Undertale, and Kenny from south park. It makes me happy to see that I was doing the mesh on the inside correctly all this time. I wanted to make sure the mesh would stick properly, especially when hand painting the eyes, so i did the hot glue sandwich method. So glad my instincts were right. Your mask looks amazing. Hopefully i can make one of my own. I've never work with foam before. Maybe it's time for a new medium 🎃

Most people find it difficult to leave a career to go into special effects work. It's what we call "the golden handcuffs"- because normally special effects work does not pay very well and sometimes it comes in waves. Do you already make things on your own? Or would this be a complete new start from the beginning? I would suggest buying materials on your own and practicing here and there on your own for a bit. I wish you the best of luck in whatever career you choose.

I've been wanting to do a jack o lantern head this year and you have so many tutorials on making pumpkins! I've used a real one before for a head but which do you think would be the best faux one for a beginner and cheapest to make? I was thinking of using a ball or balloon and cover it in great stuff until it sets then burst the ball/oon and then carve it out. Do you think that'd work? Papier Mache is what most ppl recommend to me but I suck at that for some odd reason lol. I just need a static spooky head that doesn't weigh 10 lbs like the last one and I can't find any funkins big enough!
