How to make a Halloween pumpkin with paper mache

In this video, I'll show you how to create a Jack-o-lantern with paper mache and paper based clay.
It's a great prop for Halloween decoration and the face is really spooky !
You'll need some tools like brushes, paint, cutter, etc., and also:
- Newspapers
- Masking tape
- Toilet paper
- PVA Glue
- Joint compound
- Flour

I've done a couple of things with joint compound which really makes a nice hard surface. But apparently I did not know to ring out the toilet paper, I just used that water to mix everything together. Lol

Joint compound is great! 😊 Toilet paper is the base of this mixture. You can find more recipes on "ultimate paper mache"! 😊

If you TEAR your paper rather than cut it, the pieces blend together better when you go to paper mache.

It should work but I'm not sure...and Mod Podge is really more expensive than PVA glue!! Let me know if you try this with mod podge! 😉
