Brilliant use of your winch! I'm sure someone has said this already but if that cable snaps under heavy load you will feel it in your frontal area and worse on your face!
@DJayAce43 жыл бұрын
Really awesome idea. For my own personal use I'd want to lengthen the platform to where it can basically lift up large trash cans filled with scrap and what not. Also put a pair of stabilizer wheels on the front end of the platform so I don't have to sit there and try and balance the load trying to raise it into the bed. This is a great idea though, just needs a couple tweaks for me and this would be incredible. Good stuff man

That's the best part of invention, the prototype needs to be tested to find out what works and what needs improving.

Its pretty cool but could of been done a bit better, Shoulda kept the lift plate closer to the frame. Need a foot plate for tilting it back. Grease those rails! 😂

The center of gravity is misaligned. Make the load lie on the axle of the wheels, not on the hands. Handles should be bent that the load lifted you, but not you the load on hands held. Make the handles longer, then you will understand. Sorry about my English.

@daviddewilde80416 жыл бұрын
Hi. The idea is good. But it still needs a bit of work. Good bases for evolution.
@mp-xt2rg3 жыл бұрын
nice concept but end product doesn't look particularly useful. The bottom needs some type of support that stays on the ground so it doesn't need to be counter balanced and you need two tracks on either side to get rid of that gap between the lift plate and the back of the hand dolly. also the lift plate should be twice the depth.
@dalemasyk15833 жыл бұрын

@g.r.48536 жыл бұрын
Nice idea but costly accident waiting to happen. either PI or damaged goods. A front floor brace, larger lift table and ability to conveniently strap the object to the table are thoughts that you have already noticed because you were clever enough to create and build it.
@tbcarleton Жыл бұрын
I'd add a plate or outriggers to the bottom in order to make it stable when lifting a load, I'd set the lift platform all the way back ahainst the frame, and I'd use a single pulley with a bigger diameter so the cable doesn't have to bend so far.

Best one yet, nice work!! Challenge for you. Build a car jack that lifts all 4 wheels off the floor and acts like a trolley so you can push the car around. So you can jack up, remove all wheels and just push the car aside for later if need be.
@danburch99896 жыл бұрын
Excellent idea but poor design execution. Needs a larger lifting platform. Also needs a fixed base under the platform to resist the forward tilting forces due to no support in front of the center of gravity. I'm not sure that sharp bend over the fair lead is good for the cable. Remove the fair lead and replace with a 3" diameter pulley or snatch block. Look at commercial designs. I need to build one to lift window AC units without another person's help (not always available)..

What part of this is genius? Using pliers instead of a wench to hold bolts secure at 2:31 or using pliers as a hammer at 2:53. Really, what good is it? The lift table is so narrow a small tool box wont stay on. Another POGO STICK WITH A ENGINE GLUED ON. Looks fancy but doesn't really do much. Neither awesome or genius.
