Dee Trigg, thank you for your comment. However, it is mentioned in the video (Step 2) that the cake needs to be crumb coated using either buttercream or ganache.

Only one thing I found faulty with this video. She forgot the most important part. You must Ganache you cake before you lay the fondant on. Without Ganache the fondant has nothing to adhere to. I find Ganache to be the smoothes thing for purse cakes.
