Instead of gluing the thermal tape along the panel and have the gaps, you can glue the tape across, so each segment connects uninterrupted from one aluminum stripe to another.

Your heater panel does look very professional. Over here where I live we are very backward and none of the materials that you have used is available here. I need this type of heater to treat neuropathy which I have been suffering from for many years and for which there is no medical cure. I have read that infrared radiation is one method to give some relief but these things are not even heard of here. What I would very much like to know is the frequency of the radiation produced by your heater. I know this is a very difficult matter but as you live in a developed country it may be possible to get the radiation frequency measured by someone. For my purpose I have to use a frequency only of about 10 microns. Therefore I would very much like to know the radiation freq1uey. Thanking you very much.

I don’t know how I didn’t find this video sooner as I’ve been looking for a week in how these infrared panels are made. Fantastic video!!! Very clear and precise, but as an amateur in this, could you answer the following; 1/ am I right in thinking that the infrared is caused by the glow on the aluminium causing the infrared light. 2/ The infrareds heaters that you see on the Internet, is the front of the panel made with aluminium, or is it a just glass . Cheers 🍻 for the upload
@cayrex5 жыл бұрын
Hello! 1/ yes you are right,.... you have many infrared technologys in infrared heating applications. The "glow" IR heaters wotking on high temperatures like 1000 to 1500 degg C and the element is a carbon or ceramic based. Low temperature IR panels are far infrared heaters. 2/ a classic IR panels have front made from thin plastic, wich cover the heating core. You also have the front made from ceramic, glass, mirror, sand like structure,..... annnnnd many more

I don't understand: why do you need to tape aluminum tape on the aluminum plate?
@cayrex2 жыл бұрын
Aluminium tapa an Al plate are not connected. Al plate is for base material that hold entire panel together. On that Al plate is put on some insulation foam which covered the entire Al plate. On that foam you put aluminium tape on each side for the electrodes.....
@ytrew97172 жыл бұрын
@@cayrex Thanks for your reply! I now understand, in 8:01 you paint the insulation foam and not the aluminum. Sorry I missed that step. I thought the insulation was on the other side to redirect the IR
