Even if it’s for the verse of a song? Or do you just have one voice with effects on the verse, and then add doubles for the hook? Also, do you always do doubles of every harmony as well? Hey! Timgren, Anna. I must say you are extremely surgical with producing songs with Logic Pro DAW. I always wondered what topliners were and for the fact I am a very new "Baby Boomer to DAW and music software. Thank you for sharing how to create Topliners for songs. I have been so used to using patch bays etc.. hardware to produce music lol that during COVID-19 I decided to get back in the loop by investing in updated gear for my home studio to produce music. However, it has been an exciting journey to learn how to operate my Logic Pro DAW along with other DAWs I use. I hope to see more of your tips and perhaps learn how to use Pro logic as a whole with tutorials on the use of Buses, mixing mastering, etc.... lol I think you get my point of view. So anyway, again, thanks for the tutorial lesson. :-) 👍🏽

Hey Olivia! Glad you like the songs!! (Didn't write I'm so pretty tho ;)) I can't really say how much time it takes, because that's very personal! But you can speed up the process by analysing and studying the genre you're interested in and also if you're a singer, record yourself and re-record the lines until you're happy with the sound and timing of your vocal. That way you will become faster and find the vocal sound you want quicker. Effects plugins I use: Logic's built-in EQ, Compressor, De-esser, Multipressor And I've recently bought Waves Tune Real-Time for pitch correction and CLA vocals for a better sound. Hope this helps! :)

Hey Sophie! Thank you! :) This is a bit tricky, I think some companies MAY have an open email, but I’ve personally never gone that way. If you don’t have contacts yourself, I’d suggest working with music publishers = companies/people that specialise in sending your songs to labels/artists and take care of the contracts for you etc, for that they take a % of your share of the song in return! :) There are MANY music publishers around so make sure you do your research before starting to work with them! :) Sorry I can’t help you more at this point! Good luck!!! :)))
