This is my favorite DIY video of all time. It’s completely informative of every step. Every shot is nice and the slowmo/cuts all line up super well with the beats. I love that you put your homie on at the end too!

Many thanks Miles, I had not heard of a Kendama before...your great instructional video showed how it was made, but your friend, Tadan, really showed us how it is used. Well done to both of you.

This inspired me to start saving to build my own Kendamas by hand! Thanks a ton for the video! As a former student of a cinematography school, this was excellently filmed and edited! Absolutely major props and hats off to you, my friend! I’ll be purchasing one of yours myself when I get the extra funds. :)

4 months is literally nothing in kendama. most pros are at least 5+ years into kendama

I used a waterbased polycrylic, (flat) but I wouldn't recommend it because it wasn't as grippy as I wanted.

Nice work Miles! It turned out great. I would advise you to not just break the waste pieces off as the wood can break into the finished piece. Use a chisel or saw. Excellent work on the sphere.
@MakeWithMiles5 жыл бұрын
Thanks Brian, I do regret breaking it off, but I was able to mostly turn it down afterward on the lathe! Thanks for the suggestion!

How much you would charge to make my custom made ? My design? 😎😎🔥
@MakeWithMiles4 жыл бұрын
$1,000,000. No, just kidding. I usually don't do custom work because I can't always satisfy everyone's needs. But, I will be dropping a batch of limited edition damas in a month or two on my etsy. It just makes more sense for me to come up with a style and make multiple rather than making single customs, I hope you understand.
