Great videos! Im getting ready to launch my own kickstarter video and was looking for suggestions on finding music of relative low cost royalty. Your kickstarter has good background music but how much did that cost. Thanks!

Good Job LeftC....your presentation skills are a natural talent. I think you are correct...Kickstarter participants can sniff the authenticity in the air. Also, I think you can do a bit of decor modeling in your studio...your production details are meticulous...but your studio needs some energy. Great Job, either way...mad respect for Adventure vids. Peace

Hi Levi, the Kickstarter campaign link on the description isn't working for me. Might want to check on that, but great video as always! Wish you the very best and greetings from Puerto Rico. Let me know if you ever feel like visiting the island!

Why is your Leftcoast website not yet setup for a forum-style learning area? A forum would be very easy to kick-start the crowd-sourced learning curve... Then you can re-design for a maybe specific idea for learning quarters... But at least have a forum man! I love the idea, but there is 0 execution on the idea right now :(

Hey thanks for sharing your thoughts Devon. I don't fully understand what you're trying to say here, but I appreciate you leaving feedback.

Maybe I'm assuming your website intentions are different. Do you wish to make a website where crowd-sourced knowledge comes together to teach each other how to film and tell stories better? Or is your /learn area of the website just going to be for a product placement book/DVD? Both ideas are good, but I do love the idea of thousands of adventurer's having a place to go, to share successful ways to tell stories. Or even collaborate on story telling theories and templates.

Do you wish to make a website where crowd-sourced knowledge comes together to teach each other how to film and tell stories better? - no. That sounds like a fascinating idea though. I would love to find a great way to incorporate a community component to learning and adventure filmmaking. I haven't found a solution or option as of yet that I think would work best. I have no intentions of starting a forum, those are massive undertakings and not something I think would actually be terrible helpful in the long run for helping people learn and grow. (I've been apart of a lot of forums in the past) At this point the Learn section of the website is just hoping to capture emails of people that want to learn filmmaking. I would like to develop both paid and free courses and tutorials I can give to these people. I don't have the chops to build a community-based website right now, but that is the goal in the long run. "I do love the idea of thousands of adventurer's having a place to go, to share successful ways to tell stories. Or even collaborate on story telling theories and templates." I love this idea too. Again I think it would be a massive undertaking to build. And I currently don't have the resources to pull this off right.

+Leftcoast yeah definitely I hear you. that's just what I assumed based off the limited info i gathered and what popped in my head. I know Joseph Garden Levitt is doing something similar but more on collaboration less on learning and knowledge or building skill sets. either way knowledge is power from 1 or 1,000 so I appreciate what you're doing regardless. my KZbin doesn't give any inclination to what I do (for now) but in the future I will be using KZbin more than just digesting knowledge but implementing it for others to learn. I've learned electrical engineering basics and so much from KZbin I appreciate all the knowledge users who share

Hey Levi Can I make a donation without having all of the "rewards" shipped to me? It is adding shipping charges, but I do not need you to send me anything
@Levi_Allen
@Levi_Allen 8 жыл бұрын
+DavidisDawei - you could go through left.ly/PayPal if you wanted, but it won't show up on the Kickstarter page. I could take note not to ship you anything on Kickstarter, but I won't be able to remove the shipping ad on. I would have to create an additional perk people could pick. If you think I should do this, what level should I make it at?
