May I ask why you use perfume alcohol instead of distilled water? Certain fragrance oils are not coming out clear do you have any tips for that?

Certain oils will cloud any base, some, you need to reduce the amount of oil to keep it clear. Some oils need an emulsifier like polysorbate 20 or 80. There's a lot of factors that come into play and many different recipes. The one we use works with all of our fragrance oils, and stays clear, so that is why we chose it. The spray doesn't have to be clear though. You could use bottles that aren't clear if you like your formula but not the appearance.

Can this be used as a body spray as well?

This formula is skin safe, but we would need to do more testing for it to be sold as a body spray because it doesn't have any "moisturizing" properties. The alcohol is perfume grade, the polysorbate is food grade, and we use skin product safe fragrance oils. We will try to make a body spray in a future video.

@TaraRenita we did test it without the poly, but it separates after sitting for a while, which we didn't like in our clear bottles.

@TaraRenita It could be dependent on the fragrance oil too. Some may be fine, and others may separate.
