please can you show us a system where when the beam is broken the alarm stays on until you wake up and reset the alarm, otherwise the intruder will wake you up and that won't be pleasant. Please help make this improvement for us much appreciated thanks

So in the standby mode the relay is drawing constant current. How about the other way round? I only want it to draw current when the relay turns on.

or the relay is the problem,maybe you are using 12v to 24v relay but you are using lower than 12v,24v
