You should make a plaster jacket mold to go around the latex to make it rigid so it can be used to mold

Hi, thanks for watching! In this specific project I did not use any release agent but it works fine for me but in some I did and I used castor oil.

Sorry I haven't tried polyester casting, so I'm not sure if you can use latex molds with it.

The question i am facing is, how many castings would you be able to make with that mold using concrete ?

Hi sorry for late reply. I've done more than 30 casting so far and it's still in great condition. Honestly, the life of your mold is depend on how well it's been looked after.

In addition to be careful, spray the inside of the mold with a mixture of 3/4 and 1/4 castor oil. Mold Man tells you that. Makes a huge difference in the release from the mold. Spray mold, shake it out with open side down and pour in concrete mixure.

It's white when wet, and then it turned to brown when it dried.
