I wonder how many granny's and crocheters are turning in their graves to see these old things get cut and shredded..☺️🤭🤣!?! So cool to see the process. Again, gorgeous work. You have such a soothing teaching voice. Great instructions etc. I can't help but notice your beautiful skin and tan too!! Is that self tanner?? Whatever it is it looks great. I love purple. The shade came out perfect. I dyed a white wedding dress to make a Halloween costume and had to learn the difference between dying polyester and the different fabrics. I'd never dyed anything before and had to use the rite dye for poly. It did turn out in the end. I did all of that in large pots and plastic bins with boiling water. It was a huge project. Thank you again for being so kind as to walk us through all of the steps!!

@@tmyershandmade978 The poly dye was very limited in the colors at the time. Late 2019. I don't know if they have more colors now. There was an online chart I used to hopefully get the color I wanted. I just had to wing it. I was making a Glinda costume. Long story. The color turned out so perfect I couldn't believe it....BUT.. There were small parts of the costume that came out a super dark burgundy. So yes, I learned how the dye made those different fabrics come out totally different.

I use to date a WWE professional wrestler, Shawn Michaels back in, 1987-1999. I use to make my own outfits. And a lot of my outfits looked like the ones you make. I have learned a lot of stuff from you. I even had the seamstress from the WWE ask me were I got my outfits. They were surprised to learn that I had made them myself. So thanks for the great ideas . I don't date Shawn anymore. But I still like making my own outfits.

I learnt how to pleat using a fork!! I'd suggest if your going with a lot of pleats using sheets maybe do a bunch of them before hand. Could use a ruffler foot to do it for you. Love the dress.

You are not alone. We learn by doing it wrong first so believe me, Ive failed on a few projects too BUT I took them apart and made something else from it after adding it back to the stash pile. My label is Lavoie Boho. I print my own labels on white fabric using a self-inked textile stamp from Staples. Lets do a tutorial on labels and price tags.

@@robinmcbride1501 yes I have a few that I'm going to adjust to my satisfaction! I do have one outfit that I made and spent so much time on it. I was obsessed with it. That is the disaster one. I hate the thought but I'm going to just break it down to scraps 😥. I now have spinal stenosis in my neck and it hurts to sew for a long time and I get discouraged because it takes so long. After being depressed about it I finally decided to just make smaller projects and organize my space. I'm happy again and I just keep going. Today I decided to separate my button collection by color.
