that small wrench you used looks fantastic!! please tell me what kind of wrench it is or where I may find one. i need it! also, thank you for the tutorial. i prefer to make my own tools whenever possible but don't always know how to go about it. this is very helpful!

You’re welcome. The wrench is just a vintage adjustable wrench. Looking online some seem to call it a girder wrench. Hand tool rescue makes one. Hope that helps.

Interestingly, I aquired an inch dowel and easily grooved the slot with a threaded bolt using a hand drill. Did not need a wood shop to complete this $2 dollar project
