I need help I want to build this in the pic into a portable speaker with bluetooth I have 3 6 watt, 1 5 watt and 2 3 watt speakers I would like the battery to last as long as possible and would like to put lights in the change with the beat I've never done this before give me a $100 budget and a under $100 budget example parts hope you can help if I can I'd like to use all the speakers but if you think the 3 six watt speakers would be loud enough I'll trust your judge meant

In this pic you said, you meant, like my speaker or do you have provided any link to your speaker? See, we have to discuss your project in detail. first of all we need to know which type of speakers do you have in hand, Are all the ones same ? mainly there are sub woofers, woofers, tweeters. The construction of all these speakers are different and its meant to work in different audio spectrum. The sub woofers enhances tho lower end audio, I.e the bass. The woofers enhances the vocals and mid range of audio and tweeters deals with the high end or treble of the audio. The signal from the amplifier is split to these corresponding speaker drivers through an audio crossover. This is the method commonly used in speakers. What are you planning to do? are you planning to include a crossover? If you are not using a cross over then, its better to stick with a pair of speaker driver and a pair of passive radiators. A passive radiator enhances the bass response and therefore enhance the overall sound quality. If you are planning to use a crossover, then we could use 2 6 watts speaker and 2 3 watt speakers. Another important information you need is the impedance of your speakers. If you have any info on it let me know. it will be normally written on the magnet of the speaker like 4 ohms or 8 ohms etc. Let me know about these and we'll work through.

I could help you but i need to know the impedence of each speakers. Could you help me with that ? Its normally written at the back side of the speaker magnet. Without knowing it, there are high chances of burning up your amplifier.

i used an arduino uno for the leds!
@HobbyRoom5 жыл бұрын
great, have seen some projects using arduino for the lights. hows the sensitivity of lighting while using the arduino?
@aarriikknn33ll5 жыл бұрын
Hobby Room do you mean brightness? I didnt use the power pins of the arduino to power the ledstrip, i used 5v ledstrip and i used a diffrent power source that had the right amount of current that i needed, you only need to connect the data pin to control it. And if you are talking about sensitivity of how it picks up the music, you can change it all in the code. You can either download code from online, or create your own. I used a little microphone that i connected to the arduino that picks up the sound. I soldered a pontentiometer to the output of the mic so i can change the sensitivty. But like ive said you can also just change it in the code.

@@aarriikknn33ll thank you for your reply. I was asking how is the performance of the leds according to music. Since you are using a mic it would pick up additional surrounding noise too right? So i was asking how far this noise would effect the led lighting. I'm just curious to know it, thats why im asking, hope you dont mind answering.
@aarriikknn33ll5 жыл бұрын
@@HobbyRoom i placed the microphone next to the tweeter and turned the sensitivity from the mic to really low, outside noise is barely picked up. I will upgrade it in the future by using the output of the bluetooth chip. And when using AUX the output pins of the aux cable. That also works! And no, i dont care about aswering. I actually always look forward to answering :)

@@HobbyRoom if you search Cine- Lights on KZbin you can see a tutorial on how he did it. Also the download link for the code, i modified the code to work with an arduino nano, so i used half of it. But you can just download it and put it on the arduino and you are ready to go!

Not a bad concept it looks awesome It has what any party lover would love to have near music and lights But idk... the cabling and inner work... Idk found it a bit messy, don't get me wrong though its still a nice work
@HobbyRoom6 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much for your reply. Your are absolutely right, the cabling is messy for sure since the switch box alone consist of 52 pin connections and these are connected to the circuit boards which have further internal connection as well. I thought to include a detail wiring explanation in the video but it would make it more lengthy and not everyone would like to watch it also. So every detail on how to wire and a neat wiring diagram is included in my article page (link in description). If you are interested you could have a look 😊
