It is somewhat if you get the Creative Suite online monthly subscription. They charge me $32/month and I get access to all of the Creative Suite programs as well as tech support, program updates, and stuff like that. Its a lot easier than paying the outright licensing fees for each program you want.

@kathycobb68293 жыл бұрын
According to the picture of the final product, you should be able to put one flower in front of another without being able to see through the front flower. No matter, how much I try to insert a background color, even if I expand, group, etc. when I try to put one flower in front of the other, you can see through everything. I am doing quite well with everything else except this.

At time index 0:34, they select the Direct Selection Tool and drag the top and bottom lines to a single point. I can't get it to do that! Do I need to be pressing another key while dragging? (I am not an Illustrator user, so don't know all the short cuts and variables on tools...)
@sasidharb41596 жыл бұрын
No need you can just use direct selection tool, select the end point and drag.That's it
@macrumpton5 жыл бұрын
Wouldn't it be better to do the leaf lines as a brush pattern, and use the width tool to make the leaf shapes? Then you could adjust the leaf shape and length just with one line. The problem with the approach shown here is that every little adjustment involves moving and changing handles on several lines. You may have a bit more control, but at the expense of much more complexity.

Anyone else have the problem where the blended strokes lose the profile? It's somewhat irritating when this happens and there appears to be now way to fix it unless the two original paths are redrawn from scratch.
@curtisbailey236 жыл бұрын
I was having the same problem. I found the answer here: forums.adobe.com/thread/1291256 Basically,: - Both strokes must have the exact same width and stroke profile settings - BOTH strokes must be selected when you adjust the width and profile settings. - The blend will not work IF you apply the width and profile settings to each stroke independently-- even if you adjust both strokes to the same exact settings.

Kristen Chong probably added some white fill, instead of just the stroke. Or a white petal below the blend.
