Watching all your videos has inspired me to grow some of my own foliage. I've decided to grow two types of pittosporum in pots on my patio. Maybe add ivy to it as well. I love this design and it's given me an idea for a party coming up.
@FlowerJoos Жыл бұрын
That’s great - and it gives a double purpose, something in the garden and then it’s also useable. 😀 pittosporum is very useful.

@@FlowerJoos it won’t be, it’ll be very regimented. I work like you in a much more relaxed way with a true feel for natural sculptural beauty. Lovely arrangement roughly how long it? wud it be suitable for church table?
@FlowerJoos2 жыл бұрын
Hello - you can make the length to suit - the only thing that restricts it is the length of the materials themselves. Yes, this would be suitable in a church - for an altar you can make it more one-sided, and even cascading a little so it can sit on the edge of the altar. 🌼😀

How do u attach a flower swag to a corner of the bride table no one shows video of this after you put your tablecloth and a swag across front how do I attach flowers to this please help
@FlowerJoos Жыл бұрын
Hi there. If I was adding a garland along the front of a bridal table I woukd pin it on using pearl headed pins - so nice strong ones. At the points you want to attach take little stitch into the cloth with the pin on the top edge, then add the garland and pin back into the cloth. The pin sits vertical catching the garland and the point is at the back facing down. That is fir more of a rope style - for heavier garlands it might require extra pinning from behind in other areas.

Floral Design Institute offers online courses that have been very successful. You do many different types of design, really all basic designs that new and old designers could use as basic skills for new designers, and/or update old designers..

You are so good and talented but you might consider leading the way into banning floral foam…. So many other options nowadays ?
@FlowerJoos3 жыл бұрын
Thank you - yes, we do want to take this on board. There are a couple of new versions from Oasis coming out just now - one is very similar to the Agra wool and the other is looking interesting as well. The best situation will be an eco version that is fully compatible and useful commercially. A lot of alternative options are less commercial but ideal for home use. 🌼🙋🏼♂️
