Beautiful. I was surprised to seemingly see your lathe is a mini lathe. Love, to know who manufactured it, for your certainly turning out some fine products such as this microphone assembly and the whole assembly and gear you produced in the custom brass, aluminum, copper, lighter ignited by caps. I do have a suggestion for something you could fabricate. It's a bit unusual and would require having a good piece of electronics to begin with. What I am thinking of is a "Tape Transport Mechanisim" for a good single deck, non reversing, 2 or 3 headed Cassette Tape Deck that is actually more well made than what came with the original machine. I know, that's asking a lot, but it would be absolutely cool to pull off.

@rjakiel733 жыл бұрын
This
@bebek19933 жыл бұрын
@@patrickpaes7817 he did it in order to minimise the strain on the wires because of movement. Since the microphone housing is held in place by rubber band strands, it means that it can move and rotate around. And if he made the wires too tight (running straight from the housing to the connector) then the elastic mounting system for the housing would be pointless and the wire will break at the solder joints over time (except if he added strain reliefs, which I didn't see any in the video).
