I'm not sure, I think if you want to use colour codes like that there is another function called translateAlternateColorCodes but I'm not sure.

I get an error after I jump that states: could not pass the event PlayerJumpEvent to FirstPlugin. The version of paper I'm using is 1.19.2-R0.1-SNAPSHOT and minecraft 1.19.2

Hi! So I'm trying to learn to make plugins, and stumbled up your videos. But I can't get this to work. When I type this "player.sendMessage("You jumped!")" to send a message to the player that he jumped, intellij just puts a line ontop of the "sendMessage" part. When I hover my mouse on top of it, it just says: "Obsolete API is used". I've tried switchin' kotlin to earlier versions, and nothing has worked. Can you help me?

even tho i run my code it has no errors , i put it in my server but when i do /plugins it doesnt show up, any thoughts?

Maybe you are using the wrong .jar file. Or maybe you don't have to right project structure for it to recognize as a plugin. Are you using the Minecraft Development Plugin for IntelliJ idea?
