@@TheUrbanNemophilist I was fascinated by the little critters you sprinkled in there to aid the eco system. Amazing. I trust they are readily avilable? I've been considering give this a try. I am an accomplished gardener for regular vegetables and flowers, but this is something very different for me. Going through all your videos to learn as you are very clear and understandable. Just need to find sources for the plants and critters. I've found some on Amazon I think I found some links awhile back.

Aquasoil, dry moss and water. Forms a sticky paste and stays in place once dry.

Hi, with the aqua soil. Is it lava rock or something else? Trying to find a modelling clay for live moss is turning out a bit tricky. And I just came across this video. An open terrarium is more like plants in a pot or a dish garden so give it a try. The glass may result in the container becoming too hot and also promote algae growth. I do not make much open setups. Whatever I do I keep in indirect sunlight or under artificial lighting.
