@@luker1ng One year and one half. Dude, all of these accomplishments in such little time. Now I’m like, where will you be in another one year and a half. That’s crazy cool! I’ve been scouting locations and saw that West Virginia has what I’m looking for, for a woodsy vibe. I’m in California and haven’t done enough location planning here in my state. But the spot at 5:23 has the trees on one side and a radio tower on the other side. I can visualize one scene right there. Yes, the radio tower plays an important part of the story. I just love how there is a walkway to and from there with those trees. Filming there is a huge must. Hopefully we can link up at some point if it works for you. Also, thank you for emphasizing how important it is to have a storyboard ready during pre production. That made me focus more on this factor. For now, I write side notes for filming specs while writing the script.

Hello! That’s awesome. Will you let me know tomorrow about yourself so I can give some better advice? It’s hard to get such broad help. This video actually does a pretty solid job with some advice. But the biggest thing is just getting out there and filming your first project!

@@luker1ng People often say that gear doesn't matter when it comes to filmmaking, but I disagree. I only have an iPhone 6s, so I need to prove my skills to pursue a career as a filmmaker. If I can't do that, my parents will make me study engineering in college, which I don't want to do :(

@Rinshann you got this! Even if the film isn’t super good quality. You can still show off your camera movement. Framing and more! Make a couple films on your phone. Then start to save up for a camera. You got this!
