Make the pattern and you'll know if you have enough fabric or not

Given that the pattern looks flat you could always draw the pattern and measure the length and width to ensure you have enough

ahh, to do the tail loops do you measure the diameter and do the circle math: C= 3.14 times Diameter, i.e. Diameter is 6 inch 6x3.14 = 18.84in on a ruler, the small the lines(milimeters) are the ones you want to get closest to the .84. Otherwise I guess remeasure the circumference by hand with a fabric ruler? what's the preferred method on that?
