I know this tutorial was a year ago, but I need to ask, you said you made this for a customer, but did this trouser actually fit the customers waist, because I followed this tutorial and the waist was so big for the person I even used less elastic than you used, it still did not fit the person. If it was going to be full elastic, then you could have used the hip measurement for the waist but because it's going to be half elastic, you should have just added like 2 inches to the main measurements. Because I just trusted blindly I might have to make another trousers for my customer. I'm not trying to criticize your work just a correction from a place of love. I genuinely don't think this method works🙏🙏 because I have tried and rested it. Much love and please continue the good work❤️

You should have added extra two inch to the top of the waist for the back piece of your pant. Thats the reason your butt dragged the pant down
