You need some type of prongs on the bottom of the cutters so the paper doesn't curl around the blades. Do it on both top and bottom.

Why use 4 motors instead of 2? I don't think you need the extra power, and if only one of those motors gets out of sync, both motors on that line might burn out.

That has to be the most expensive paper shredder ever, and it not even fast or efficient, At work we have one it's made the same way with the blades but one motor, and a cheap shaded-pole motor at that, but it fast and doesn't tangle the paper because it has guides for that, and it's old too 1989 I think I saw on the name plate. But still a good project, and it works. so good job.

Nice idea but the gap between the blades is too large and Oliver MJ made the excellent point of saying you need teeth under the cutters. This is good for any documents that don't have PII.
