I use a Zebra Z grip click pen parts to make my turned pens. Total cost to make a turned pen is less than$3 using this method. Have you tried this method?

@woodentreasurestn Thanks, I use the click cap, the front area under the rubber I cut off to use as the front end of the pen. I then drill holes on my lathe to match the parts. In the middle I drill 7mm so as to use the lathe mounting fixture. I then finish as a normal turned pen. Thanks for your interest.

@woodentreasurestn I use both ends of the Zebra Z grip click pen as my pen kit. You need polymers and to remove the end click cap as it is a precise fit. I cut off the part under the rubber to use as the front end of the pen. I then drill holes in my block to match these parts. I drill my holes on my lathe so to center the holes.

There are auto-focus cameras readily available on the market, and they are very inexpensive. You have good content, so make the investment. I don't download content, but am your consumer, so don't take things personally. @@woodentreasurestn
