How fun!!’. Are you ever right about too many tools ! As a cabochon wire wrapper I have every imaginable tool and…if I don’t have some manly tool that I need , I know my husband has it. Those pennies are super ‼️. I think your cleaner may be for the plastic of your car headlights!!. FYI
@chelseaclerke3582 Жыл бұрын
I thought for sure those tools would be really expensive but they are totally affordable! These penny buttons are beautiful, I am imagining using them on clothing as well! You could do the same thing with dimes or nickles if you wanted silver, although a nickle is a bit thicker so I don't know if that would be a problem. You can also take a penny (at least the older ones) and turn it gold by soaking it in a solution of salt and white vinegar and then soaking it in another solution of water and sodium hydroxide which is just drain cleaner, so you could make gold ones too! Chemistry is awesome!

I have a punch! Never thought to use a penny. You are so clever! Don't put a hole in the Queen's head! I think that might be treason...🤣🤪 I lived in the Northwest Territories for about 50 years but I recently moved to Alberta. Important years, 1974 1979 or 1958

Love your penny buttons! I worked with a woman who used to sell Flitz as a side job at trade shows in the Toronto area. It would sell out every time. I think you should bezel a “loonie” or a “twoonie” next for a focal bead , loving the coin ideas! 1991 on a Penny would be memorable for me! Thank you for always sharing your creativity with us Emma. 😍

Emma, can I buy two penny buttons with specific years from you or send them to make? Thanks!
@tahomyjo3 жыл бұрын
Emma ? If you but the BEAD SMITH EZ-Rivet tool you won’t deal with any burrs or roughness so if you do a lot of the buttons it may get be a bit more but so worth it because that would drive me nuts to have to worry about smoothing and sanding the holes everytime when you could be done with your bracelet by the time it takes to smooth it all … just a suggestion
