Also good to note, if you play a lot of concert percussion/percussion ensemble type gigs then it is good to always have black hand towels on you. Can lay them on a music stand and roll the edges to create a table. Also handy if you need to dampen a bass drum! Awesome video though, always love your uploads!

cool. i made one for my drummer out of a busted 12" speaker on its own stand, for shakers and whatnot. this way he had a target to toss them in to and they'd fall in instead of off if he missed a little or had too many shots.

Hi ! I've got a possible topic for one of your next videos ! I searched on the internet but actually, nobony gave any trick about how to clean RAW cymbals. I don't really know how to translate it in english, but I think of cymbals just like your Byzance ride, or Bosphorus Master Vintage ones. I tried many things, but each technique altered the texture or the color of those particular surfaces ^^... in facts, my own instrument is oxydized, and I fail trying to clean it... (also, congratulations from France for your incredible channel 👍)

Love your videos, man. I have a request - I saw your video on the diy Big Fat Snare Drum, but I'm looking at buying a Big Fat Snare Drum with the Tambourine attachments. Now I have some old washers/jingles laying around. Would there be any way for me to get the same effect?

At my school, if a stand dies (won't stay elevated) they take off the stand part and screw in a trap table. The only problem is when the screws get loose, or if you don't evenly distribute weight across it.

Hi Sir, I follow you in your videos, and every videos are amazing, 'cause show to us how to make a loooot of things in an inexpensive way. I was thinking a long time how to make a piece of tambourine to add to my snare drum and use as a "jungle" and as a rim shot (in fact I want to mix this two uses: ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/419Ztl4MtEL._SY300_.jpg and the Meinl BBTA2-BK Backbeat Tambourine). I want to buy a wood 10" tambourine. As you know you can buy very cheap in almost any euro shop. Then, my worry is about the holder. I don't have some tools (no electrics tools, to be honest) but I thought that, maybe, you can help me with some advice; or even you can make a video doing it. Thanks in advance for you attention. I keeping watching you. (And sorry, I tried to write you an e-mail, but I didn't find any address)
@rdavidr8 жыл бұрын
+Lluís m.Blesa Yamaha actually made a version of the groove wedges with jingles. I do plan to make a video about making one of those meinl things, though. Also I made a groove wedge in the past by cutting a section out of a skateboard and mounting it to the snare. So to make one with jingles you would just need to cut some slots in it and use pins (or nails basically) to attach the jingles in the slots. Hopefully that helps!
@lluismblesa8 жыл бұрын
+rdavidr Cool!! Thank you so much! I can't find the video. I can't wait to see the video about meinl!!
