Nether perimeter next pls. One of my goals on my survival it's make a huge whiter skeleton farm with a Perimeter, and almost all the videos in yt are made in the OW like in this case. Btw amazing vod, no one do the technical Minecraft so simply and easy to learn line you bro

I have a good idea for guys who want to build a perimeter : you can build a 5 * 5 perimeter and when you want to afk at the mob farm you must set your render distance to two chunks. I built a 5 * 5 perimeter and creeper farm inside and that works perfectly

@@R4ka___ logicalgeekboy's perimeter creeper farm (with some changes because of mob spawning in 1.18 and above. Mobs now need light level of 0 to spawn but in 1.17 and below they need light level of 7 or below to spawn)

Do you have to build multiple of these across the whole perimeter? My flying machine goes to the other end, then moves over one block, on the next trip to the other side it goes back down the same line it first did. Should it move across indefinitely?

So I just build this quarry exactly like you did, but I didn't stop it after the first return, and then it wouldn't go again. Do I really have to stop it every time so that it doesn't kill itself? And if yes, can't I just use buttons to get it going?

A perimeter is a much better idea because a perimeter completely gets rid of the fact that mobs can spawn in caves. If you're in an ocean, you still would have to worry about mobs spawning in caves.

I know this is old, but you don't need to do it unless you want perfectly smooth sides after the perimeter is done. you could skip it, then come back, build a few blocks in, and make your own walls (or leave them ragged).

When I set a 256x256 (16chunks x 16chunks) area, can i arbitrarily reduce or increase the size of the area? It's hard to get rid of the water because I don't have enough sponges, and my mind and body refuse to remove the water one by one with sand.

@@Sa10_oh reducing the size any lower than 16x16 chunks allows mobs to spawn. Mobs can spawn anywhere within a 128 block radius sphere around the player, this is why the minimum size for a TRUE perimeter is 16x16 chunks. 16 chunks is 256 blocks total

No, but it is used to get clean edges.

Yes, you can! Just keep in mind that you will be very careful with water sources so they will convert in ice if you don't cover them with blocks

If the server have Carpet Mod you can enable the option to move dispensers and make a flying machine that shoots TNT without duping
