I have not yet been able to quantify why your tutorials are easier for me to follow than many others that I have followed in the past. I suspect that it has to do with the well-chosen, succinct yet complete text, as well as showing it done in survival and taking pauses to pull back and show stages from other angles. It is also nice to not have to sift through the "personality" content that so many other channels have made their brand during tutorials.
@Shulkercraft2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the kind comment Marianna. I usually follow a simple method when creating these videos: create something I would want to watch. This seems to work pretty well :)
@zeropolicy74562 жыл бұрын
The occasional summaries explaining how much material will be needed for each new stage and the scaling (showing block distances and heights) are also a major, major help. Knowing exactly how much you need of everything so you can identify if you've made a mistake when going over stages, and having the visualization for scaling helps me a lot. Plus, it also makes for easy bookmarking spots for when you leave and come back to the video to finish builds/start the next stage. Their tutorials are just superior in both form and function to everyone else on YT.

Useful tips: 1. Make atleast a 17x17 chunk perimeter so that you have a middle chunk to begin building your farm. 2. You can use freecam mods like Tweakeroo to insspect underground caves for lava and water. 3. Lava and water removal is must or you'll end up with obby and cobble. 4. If you're on a server with low simulation distance, you may need to build the duper like 3 times. 5. Don't leave the machine without stopping it first, or else it'll be stuck. 6. You can sit in the minecart and put a cat in the other minecart to afk and prevent unloading of the machine.
@20LeeBrian12 жыл бұрын
I didn’t know tweakeroo can have freecam. I keep using replay mod to check any water or lava. There are additional tips: 1) you can use scaffolding to remove lava instead of using sand because you can see where the next lava is. But do not do this on forge since i believe the behaviors are different since they catch fire 2) set render and simulation distance to high (like 20) since during digging, the machines can break if the distances are low.
@whocares2277 Жыл бұрын
You don't need mob farms to be in the very center, everything under 128 blocks away from the player is good. Starting with 17x17 is still advisable because the lower machines won't cut out as much as the upper ones.

Thanks for this video, this is way better than the old method of making a huge array of small flying machines. This is perfect for people who are scared about a more complicated (but overall much faster) perimeter. Ilmango's world eater is more complicated but much faster from start to finish. You are trading off tons and tons of manual work to do this method for significantly higher material costs and slightly more complicated redstone.

*PLEASE READ BEFORE BUILDING* Do not pay ANY attention to where he is building the machine in the video (relative to the area he marked out), it has nothing to with where the machine SHOULD be built. The machine, when activated, will fly forwards and then *GO LEFT* , thus you NEED to build this machine in the *RIGHT CORNER* of your marked area! If you build this in the left corner, the machine will go left and either crash into a wall and explode or just stop after one single flight (if you don't have walls).
@vjeux2 ай бұрын
+1! The first observer you place has an arrow on-top. If you place yourself in the direction of the arrow, then the machine will go back and forth TOWARDS the arrow and will move one step LEFT each time. So you need to have a wall on the RIGHT and BEHIND the direction of the arrow. This is confusing at the beginning of the video. In terms of dimensions, starting from the first observer, the machine goes 4 blocks to the RIGHT, 1 block BEHIND, 5 blocks to the LEFT, 4 blocks TOWARDS. The TNTs are launched 4 to the LEFT and 1 to the RIGHT.
