I have ADHD and OCD, this looks like so much fun 😂 I have such a huge issue with picking at my skin and scabs. Edit: The main way I can personally stop myself from doing this is sorting random stuff. The main one I do is my parrots seeds. I'll go through their dish and take out all the shells of eaten seeds

If sorting is helpful you may really like picky pads. I’ve found I really like sorting the beads after picking. 🙌

I have adhd and possibly autism (diagnosed adhd, haven't even discussed autism with a psychiatrist but my therapist agrees its a possibility) and I also have bad habits of picking to the point that my bf gets annoyed that I try to pick his blackheads. And it sucks because he has such easy and perfect blackheads and I just get bad red spots and can't stop picking them. Even as a child, I have a large scar on my left knee and while it was healing, I couldn't stop picking it.

This is a great tutorial! I used this to make my first set of picky pads yesterday 😊 I was wondering how you clean the Vaseline/aquafor off the picky pads when they’re done. I tried gently washing mine with soap and warm water but I feel like that just made the picky pad even stickier :( I couldn’t find more info online so any guidance would be greatly appreciated 😊
@pickypollystore4 ай бұрын
It might be the silicone and not the Vaseline. The Vaseline comes off with warm, soapy water. If I had to guess, it would be 1 of 2 things. Either the measurement of the A solution and B solution were not exact. Or, it wasn’t stirred long enough. You have to be very exact in measuring f and also stir it for 2-3 minutes. I hope that helps!!

I’ve tried to find reusable but …. 1. They stink and smell like chemicals 2. They have a weird, sticky texture 3. Since they have a sticky texture lint, hair, dirt stick to them 🤢 4. They do not have the same firmness so the beads fall out or are way to “loose”. I am continuing to test out and look for a material that is remeltable that also meet my personal standards!
