For that lightly gathered spot around the snout, if you use a machine you can easestitch it. Sew a line of basting stitches on the larger fabric just inside of where the seam will be and tug just a little on one of the threads to compress the fabric a bit. (It’s like gathering but without scrunching up the fabric)

Hola soy de México y aquí a la tela que usa Adam , la que llaman "fleece" la conocemos como "Polar" que es suave y peludita por ambos lados, se consigue en cualquier tienda de telas como "Parisina" o "Modatelas", viene de muchos colores. También hay una tela más delgadita, suave y peludita por un solo lado que se llama "Dubetina" en algunos países la llaman "Suavetina", por muchos años se ha usado para hacer muñecos de peluche. Espero te sirva. Sigamos maravillándonos e inspirándonos con las bellas creaciones de Adam Kreutinger, soy su fan.

Because I attached it from the outside. If you want to you could cut a hole in the fabric before covering the foam, then whip stitch it from the inside.
