I'm in the pre-planning stages for making a 7 foot tall puppet and I have not a ton of puppet crafting experience, so this was a great resource to come across!

I loved the show. As for the puppeteers I would suggest a simple Lycra pullover mask for them to wear to keep them more of a mystery. Their skin and heads really “pop” out under stage lights. They could blacken their eye sockets wth hockey tape, so when whey come out to take their bows, all of it can easily be removed back stage. As usual, another fantastic production.

I got an idea! What about if you could make a monster eating puppet! My monster character is big V. The act is called, the inchworm. Kermit's appearances where he's just sitting on a wall and singing the inchworm theme. So there were inchworm's listening to the music wile Kermit is singing. 2 worms got eaten but the 3rd worm was not an actual worm, big V has a long shape like worm and big V then divourd Kermit at the end of the act. Please make it! Go to Google and check big v and make it showing your video.

You know the saying. Work harder not smarter. 😂😂😂 I'm still impressed tho, creative way to make a puppet.
I made one but the face it looks sad so I can't let it sit there so I made a back story for this sad low face☹️ I gave it a name so I won't be calling it a thing or object.

Ill never understand theater productions with puppets. Why do we see the puppeteer? That ruins the magic of it. Could not stand Avenue Q.
@PuppetNerd3 жыл бұрын
It’s not a magic trick. People already know it’s a puppet. I think it respects the audience intelligence to not try to hide the workings. We try to put more of that energy into the story telling.
