If you don’t have flour pancake mix works great. Regular printer paper works as well, but you only need 2 layers for it.

How is it when the piñata breaks since the bottom doesn’t open like store bought piñatas? Does the whole thing fall and the only thing intact is the string that was holding it up?

You can break it open the same way you would with any other pinata!

first layer let it dry , checked the following day to do the second layer, balloon had popped, blew up another balloon, and again it popped, i eventually gave up.
