Finding a balance between chaos and control in pinball is everything; that consistency makes a difference with your timing system. That first change is a good change. As for the opto beam - it looks solid and hopefully playtesting will confirm that. So many great additions - and that bird nest of wires looks so impressive. You've come so far!

The best video of the best pinball chanel ever. Congrats for ownsome video with all detailed information, I was looking for pinball maintenance and building here in Brasil, where unfortunatelly doesn't have any course about it.

Some pinballmachines are more complicated then some humans. My respect.

Hi Steve. I'm glad to see you. Fixing bugs takes time...and coding too... not sure if it's my favorite part....coding makes me think too much...making dust is easier....hahaha.

Nevermind lol I didn't watch the whole vid. Saw that you went with an opto. I had suggested maybe some kind of magnet switch might have worked for your stair issue but optos are the better option!

Looking forward to seeing you at NWPAS in June and trying out the machine!!

maybe I'll come to the event. Love to see your pinball in real. It is only 13,5 hours away from my home if I'll fly the recommended route that Google gave me. :)

Nice to have you back good sir

wow imagine that your staircase was the thing that got relative stepping and homing sequencing added in. that could add in a lot of protentional for really cool mechs. maybe some sort of animated puppet, like in Jurassic park premium.

anyone got a childhood dream of building their own pinball games, but where to start? it's not a cheap hobby or anything... 60-70 dollar or euro for just one flipper assembly. so that means about 150 dollar/euro to get a left and right one. not to mention, to get them running you need also got the buttons, power supply etc. could you give some tips/pointers how to get started cheaply?
